Aad is a senior international executive coach, team coach and seasoned HR executive with over 30 years of experience in global blue chip companies such as Unilever, SmithKline Beecham, Novartis and DSM. He now works with his clients in Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Energy, Chemicals, Finance, Construction, Agriculture, Education and Technology.
Senior Leadership and Human Capital is what Aad is passionate about, always in context of building successful businesses. In his practice he is focusing on coaching executives and leadership teams. His work with executive teams is characterized by building alignment, shared vision and committed relationships to deliver the business agenda. Aad also supports executive teams in leading change and mobilizing engagement. He enjoys designing and delivering tailor made leadership development programs with a special focus on future-fit leadership.
Aad is Adjunct Professor, 4-Continent Executive MBA, Impactful Leadership & Corporate Finance Programme and Leading Digital Transformation and Innovation at BMI in Vilnius and Brussels. He is also accredited practitioner in MBTI, Situational Leadership and Human Synergistics tools.
Prior to starting Avvartes in 2011, Aad was a member of global / regional executive leadership teams and has been leading global / regional HR teams of up to 220 professionals serving customer groups of more than 12’000 employees in businesses with annual sales of up to USD 6 billion. He has been working with senior business leaders and their teams, leading projects, building businesses and leading complex change around the globe. Aad has deep and varied Merger and Acquisition experience in different industries.
