Lorenzo was born and lives in Rome with his family.
He graduated in Psychology at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1997 and then specialized in Clinical Psychology and in Communication Science.
In the early 2000s he spent 8 years within the Human Resources department of Ericsson. As a HR professional, he always dealt with people’s behaviours; acting as a coach and as a reference point for cultural change projects and leadership development programmes.
In 2009, he left Ericsson and founded Youman, a consulting company based in Rome. Leveraging on Lorenzo’s experience and network, Youman supports organizations in reaching their targets, by offering high quality recruitment services (mainly within the ICT, Automotive, Fashion and Legal domains). Lorenzo loves recruitment because it allows him to meet and support people in key moment in their life: changing a job. It is his strong belief that a great experience for candidates leads to a higher reputation for customers and that is his mission when connecting people to corporates.
In 2013, in parallel with his experience in Youman, he participated in starting-up Avvartes. As a founding partner, for almost 5 years, he has contributed in setting-up the initial vision and transforming the strategy into an operational part, addressing prospects and developing business.
Today, as a consultant, he participates in Avvartes with the intent of creating a unique experience (for himself, the group and the customers), where passion for people and generosity are the main drivers in creating value and delivering results.
When not serving his customers, Lorenzo loves playing the piano and listening to jazz, swimming and trekking, cooking Italian dishes and travelling with his family.
