After 14 years of teaching English at university Elena started her career in business.

Elena has 20 years of experience in HR Management in SmithKline Beeham, Nycomed and Takeda, starting as HR Specialist and building HR function from zero.

As Head of HR for CIS Area (11 countries) she was responsible for the development and implementation of Area HR strategy. As member of the Area leadership team she was also part of organisation strategic projects and initiatives including structural changes, setting up Joint venture, starting manufacturing site, merger.

Elena has always had a passion for people, organisation effectiveness, cultural changes. She is sure that it is people who bring success to business and effective HR practices are key for the company to be successful.

Elena joined Avvartes with the strong desire to support the clients to create value and achieve long lasting success as well as willing herself to grow professionally and acquire unique experience which will allow to support the clients in a more professional way.

Elena received her certificate in coaching from Beyond Communications, an ICF accredited programme. It was not the first programme that she attended but it is ICF values that she finds very close to her personal values and that have been part of her personal journey. And she is sure that this approach helps her clients achieve results and be their personal best. 

Elena is fond of traveling (especially by car when her husband is driving helping him as navigator), listening to music (especially jazz), reading books (especially detectives and historical novels).

And she is passionate about her two grandsons who give her a lot of energy and happiness.
